Research

The Advanced Smart Antenna Technologies (ASAT) research group is involved in various research disciplines related directly or indirectly to the smart antenna systems and its associated technologies.

The group distinguish itself being inventive, approaching solutions through innovation. A great attention to the power consumption used by our technologies and awareness of the effect to the environment is one of the group core targets and ethos. We are committed to target green telecommunication systems, saving TONS of emitted CO2 that would be used to generate the required electricity for future mobile devices and wireless telecommunication infrastructures and harm the environment.

The ASAT research topics revolved mainly around advanced smart antenna systems, and the technology it required to be deployed in future mobile devices. We are committed to develop small, smart, green, and intelligent smart antenna systems.

In our group we do not only focus on the smart antenna technologies developments, but also the applications side is of great interest to us. Apart from the telecommunication field, we are addressing various disciplinary. For example, the medical field is one of key fields we are committed to, through various research topics, including disease early detections, including cancer detection.
